In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Svendborg FC's goalkeeper Lasse Prilvang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Detlev Gnisser in the 60th minute of play forced Svendborg FC's goalkeeper Lasse Prilvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes of play Vindekilde's Leonard Frausig was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Michael Keimling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Svendborg FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vindekilde were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
