Anders Figer kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Johan Twide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Godthaab AC's Anker Fosbøge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Morri in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Anders Figer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 minutes Godthaab AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aage Skadhede who took care of the corner kick. Glinvadhede SIK's Aage Skadhede was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anker Fosbøge in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Glinvadhede SIK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Freddy Morri hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Godthaab AC's Torben Hobert got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Aage Skadhede managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glinvadhede SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Aage Skadhede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anker Fosbøge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Ingolf Strømsø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Gerndahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Joseph Gerndahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ingolf Strømsø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espen Svarthamar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Twide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ingolf Strømsø made a huge save. In the 77th minute Freddy Morri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anker Fosbøge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Anders Figer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godthaab AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Figer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glinvadhede SIK's Ingolf Strømsø proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Glinvadhede SIK from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Freddy Morri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anker Fosbøge. Godthaab AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Morri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Godthaab AC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
