Lasse Prilvang came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Glinvadhede SIK's Freddy Morri. But to his dismay, Freddy Morri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Boje Kutlu made a precise shot to the right of Lasse Prilvang. Svendborg FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Svendborg FC's Lasse Prilvang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Nørrehvedde in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Svendborg FC's zone, Boje Kutlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lasse Prilvang came out of the goal and Boje Kutlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Freddy Morri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Freddy Morri struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Lasse Prilvang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glinvadhede SIK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boje Kutlu in the 23rd minute of play forced Svendborg FC's goalkeeper Lasse Prilvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Boje Kutlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Freddy Morri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Salomon Skytthe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svendborg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salomon Skytthe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingolf Strømsø breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Boje Kutlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lasse Prilvang was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Matthias Thornholt hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Eddy Nørrehvedde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salomon Skytthe in the 47th minute of play forced Glinvadhede SIK's goalkeeper Ingolf Strømsø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Morri made a kick off. Svendborg FC's Lasse Prilvang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Morri in the 55th minute of play. Salomon Skytthe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ingolf Strømsø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Svendborg FC's goalkeeper Lasse Prilvang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boje Kutlu. Freddy Morri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lasse Prilvang came out and tried to block the shot, but Freddy Morri slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 73rd minute. Glinvadhede SIK's Boje Kutlu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddy Morri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Glinvadhede SIK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tommy Valstorp hit a great ball. The supporters of Svendborg FC booed when Glinvadhede SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Morri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Boje Kutlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glinvadhede SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Boje Kutlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lasse Prilvang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
