Anker Fosbøge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salomon Skytthe went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lasse Prilvang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Gerndahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Abraham Blonding kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Twide got free with Lasse Prilvang in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Godthaab AC's Joseph Gerndahl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lasse Prilvang. Lasse Prilvang yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Johan Twide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Godthaab AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Twide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Svendborg FC's goalkeeper Lasse Prilvang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johan Twide. After 17 played minutes Svendborg FC got a freekick which was hit by Haakon Baldersgaard. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joseph Gerndahl in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lasse Prilvang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Gerndahl in the 25th minute of play forced Svendborg FC's goalkeeper Lasse Prilvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johan Twide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haakon Baldersgaard hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Joseph Gerndahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Svendborg FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joseph Gerndahl 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Johan Twide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Prilvang having to interfere. Johan Twide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lasse Prilvang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Joseph Gerndahl in the 42nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Johan Twide came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Godthaab AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Twide couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salomon Skytthe to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Johan Twide made a precise shot to the right of Lasse Prilvang. Svendborg FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Lasse Prilvang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Gerndahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Svendborg FC's Lasse Prilvang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Twide in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Svendborg FC's Haakon Baldersgaard got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Joseph Gerndahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godthaab AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Gerndahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lasse Prilvang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Godthaab AC's Johan Twide nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lasse Prilvang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Johan Twide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lasse Prilvang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Gerndahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svendborg FC's Lasse Prilvang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Gerndahl in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Svendborg FC's zone, Joseph Gerndahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lasse Prilvang came out of the goal and Joseph Gerndahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Godthaab AC booed when Svendborg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Blonding didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lasse Prilvang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Gerndahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 94 minutes, Joseph Gerndahl made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Svendborg FC's Lasse Prilvang tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
