Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jimmy Lokjær got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Nykobing FC booed when Hvinningdal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Kehlskov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birger Graaner, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Jimmy Lokjær's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigismund Van was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jørgen Karlog in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samson Masang saved Nykobing FC from getting behind. Jimmy Lokjær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigismund Van having to interfere. Erik Amrig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Samson Masang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Klostergaard got free with Sigismund Van in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st match minute, Hvinningdal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günther Ankerborg to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Matthias Skjoldbirk suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Günther Ankerborg fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hvinningdal FC's protests and gave Günther Ankerborg a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 minutes, Rupert Kehlskov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hvinningdal FC and the Nykobing FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hvinningdal FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rupert Kehlskov hit a great ball. Sigurd Menge hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, Hvinningdal FC's Jørgen Karlog made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samson Masang was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Hvinningdal FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jørgen Karlog to strike the kick off in the second half. If Lennart Klostergaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Klostergaard struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Sigismund Van didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nykobing FC. After 56 played minutes Hvinningdal FC got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Kehlskov. Lennart Klostergaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigismund Van having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hvinningdal FC's zone, Jimmy Lokjær stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigismund Van came out of the goal and Jimmy Lokjær tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sigismund Van came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nykobing FC's Lennart Klostergaard. But to his dismay, Lennart Klostergaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lennart Klostergaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sigismund Van tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sigurd Menge sped through Hvinningdal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sigismund Van. Samson Masang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørgen Karlog, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Nykobing FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
