The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mortimer Maigen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimi Spetting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Tage Rittoft got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimi Spetting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mortimer Maigen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Eyvin Hoskjær had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Hultquist. Udby FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eyvin Hoskjær was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 12th minute, Wolfgang Fakkenor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes Crvena Zvezda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yakov Zdrestov who took care of the corner kick. Tage Rittoft's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mortimer Maigen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Crvena Zvezda getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Aslak Venov hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Udby FC's Stewart Stardorf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mortimer Maigen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Mortimer Maigen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Zacchia in the 28th minute of play. Tage Rittoft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mortimer Maigen having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Udby FC's Cristoforo Zacchia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mortimer Maigen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Crvena Zvezda's zone, Stewart Stardorf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mortimer Maigen came out of the goal and Stewart Stardorf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tage Rittoft in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mortimer Maigen saved Crvena Zvezda from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Udby FC's goalkeeper Leo Hultquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teddy Thyren. Jimi Spetting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Eyvin Hoskjær hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Crvena Zvezda's zone, Tage Rittoft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mortimer Maigen came out of the goal and Tage Rittoft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stewart Stardorf to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Cristoforo Zacchia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Hultquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Bolvig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Bolvig in the 57th minute of play forced Udby FC's goalkeeper Leo Hultquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Udby FC's Cristoforo Zacchia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mortimer Maigen. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Tage Rittoft managed to get in a good position for a shot. Udby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tage Rittoft was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mortimer Maigen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mortimer Maigen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tage Rittoft went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Elo Kistvad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mortimer Maigen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mortimer Maigen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stewart Stardorf in the 75th minute. If Cristoforo Zacchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Udby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eyvin Hoskjær came free, but Leo Hultquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Stewart Stardorf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Udby FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cristoforo Zacchia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tage Rittoft's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mortimer Maigen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Udby FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
