Mortimer Storland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Werner Engbirk, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Patrick Rabenfeldt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thorlejf Dansø in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, FC Lindved's goal looked a bit too open when Gorm Bøghave came free, but Patrick Rabenfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, FC Lindved was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wagn Trachsel to maneuver through the defense. FC Lindved's Patrick Rabenfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorm Bøghave in the 15th minute of play. Mortimer Storland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Jadegård's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Werner Engbirk struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Valentin Jadegård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mortimer Storland having to interfere. The supporters of FC Lindved booed when Gudenaa CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balder Aakard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Rabenfeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorm Bøghave, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gorm Bøghave was the one to do the kick off. If Werner Engbirk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 55 minutes, Valentin Jadegård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lindved's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Jadegård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Fyllgraf in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mortimer Storland saved Gudenaa CC from getting behind. Carsten Traneskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Gudenaa CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Sade to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Gorm Bøghave shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Rabenfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Marcos Fyllgraf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Lindved defense, Thorlejf Dansø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Rabenfeldt. The FC Lindved fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Rabenfeldt should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Gudenaa CC. Ole Muchardt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Patrick Rabenfeldt. 2-1. Patrick Rabenfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorlejf Dansø, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. FC Lindved's Valentin Jadegård quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Balthazar Friesmar, made in the 79th minute of the game. If Werner Engbirk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Werner Engbirk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Mortimer Storland made a huge save. Gudenaa CC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lindved the free kick. Peder Bjarring ran back to his position shaking his head. Mortimer Storland made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Werner Engbirk sent off a good shot on target. Many of FC Lindved's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Lindved may have spent more time on the ball, but Gudenaa CC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
