Samuel Abachri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddy Sparrø having to make a save. Ferdinand Mersholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Sparrø having to interfere. Ferdinand Mersholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute Ferdinand Mersholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Sparrø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Abachri got free with Eddy Sparrø in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Abachri succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Duebjerg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernhard Lautrop came free, but Rudolf Kiskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Ferdinand Mersholm fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eddy Sparrø, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ferdinand Mersholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duebjerg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Mersholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddy Sparrø breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferdinand Mersholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gordon Sedenmark stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eddy Sparrø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Abachri in the 52nd minute of the match. If Bernhard Lautrop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Ferdinand Mersholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Sparrø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernhard Lautrop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolf Kiskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Sedenmark in the 62nd minute of play. Ted Sieberichs hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Gordon Sedenmark got free in front of the goal in the 68th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Rudolf Kiskov was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Duebjerg FC's goalkeeper Rudolf Kiskov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernhard Lautrop. A collision led to Team Damascus getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jokum Vesløs hit a great ball. Bernhard Lautrop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Rudolf Kiskov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Waldemar Thaisen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Samuel Abachri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernhard Lautrop succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 89th playminute. Eddy Sparrø came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Duebjerg FC's Ferdinand Mersholm. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Mersholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Duebjerg FC had won after a very even match.
