The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Kærgård booed when Årgab was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thejs Krondal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Phillip Bonesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miklos Tarrild in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aage Weigel saved Årgab from getting behind. Magnus Leland kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Aage Weigel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eske Ørslund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes, Jasper Lythman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kærgård and the Årgab players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Årgab booed when Kærgård was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasper Lythman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miklos Tarrild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miklos Tarrild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aage Weigel having to interfere. Kærgård's Janich Rosenstrøm got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Thejs Krondal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Årgab's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kærgård the free kick. Thejs Krondal hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Aage Weigel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklos Tarrild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janich Rosenstrøm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aage Weigel having to make a save. If Phillip Bonesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miklos Tarrild was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Årgab was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Fervø to maneuver through the defense. Miklos Tarrild who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Aage Weigel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 65th minute Miklos Tarrild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aage Weigel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Phillip Bonesen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mark Heilmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Kenn Rybro came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Årgab fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenn Rybro couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Årgab's zone, Janich Rosenstrøm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aage Weigel came out of the goal and Janich Rosenstrøm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miklos Tarrild got free with Aage Weigel in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lennarth Døssig came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Kærgård fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennarth Døssig couldn't finish the play. If Miklos Tarrild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
