Erling Vedelsted came out of the goal and Torbjørn Friø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erling Vedelsted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marthin Tram, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Erling Vedelsted came out of the goal and Severin Thougaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Højst AC's Erling Vedelsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severin Thougaard in the 19th minute of play. After 22 minutes, Torbjørn Friø mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brøndsted and the Højst AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Bøje Weikop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Højst AC's Erling Vedelsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marthin Tram in the 32nd minute of play. Severin Thougaard scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erling Vedelsted, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Højst AC defense, Severin Thougaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erling Vedelsted. The Højst AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erling Vedelsted should have stopped the shot. In the 48th minute Severin Thougaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Vedelsted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

If Severin Thougaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Brøndsted booed when Højst AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerhardt Grabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Severin Thougaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erling Vedelsted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severin Thougaard in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Brøndsted's Bøje Weikop nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erling Vedelsted made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Severin Thougaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Højst AC's goal looked a bit too open when Marthin Tram came free, but Erling Vedelsted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marthin Tram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erling Vedelsted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severin Thougaard in the 74th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brøndsted played a much better game than Højst AC and deserved their victory. The Højst AC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
