A hard shot by Jannich Pomsen from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Freddie Borglind's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 8 minutes into the match, Jon Hutters notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Albertslund SIK's Johnni Palmgren. Johnni Palmgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 14 minutes of play, galatasaray SK's Jon Hutters made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnni Palmgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Ove Hønning left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The galatasaray SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 20 played minutes galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Jon Hutters. After 22 played minutes galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Mickey Meulengracht. Jon Hutters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Johnni Palmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jon Hutters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eg Sjelberg got free with Freddie Borglind in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixten Vallik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertslund SIK's Johnni Palmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Hutters in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Jon Hutters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. galatasaray SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Hutters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Albertslund SIK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. galatasaray SK were winning 0-3.

Freddie Borglind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Vallik in the 55th minute of the match. Mickey Meulengracht hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Andre Lyngsberg, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jon Hutters in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnni Palmgren saved Albertslund SIK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Sarka in the 63rd minute of play forced Albertslund SIK's goalkeeper Johnni Palmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jon Hutters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Jon Hutters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnni Palmgren was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Mickey Meulengracht made a precise shot to the right of Johnni Palmgren. Albertslund SIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. galatasaray SK's Ove Hønning got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnni Palmgren came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by galatasaray SK's Jon Hutters. But to his dismay, Jon Hutters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After having played for 86 minutes, Jon Hutters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. galatasaray SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Hutters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Vallik in the 88th minute of play forced galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Freddie Borglind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Albertslund SIK's zone, Jon Hutters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnni Palmgren came out of the goal and Jon Hutters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded galatasaray SK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Albertslund SIK.
