Nicki Grundfør took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tavs Ettehauge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paw Enghusen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Severin Hjerting skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tonni Glyming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severin Hjerting having to interfere. Gunther Svensmark's late challenge caught a Uglestrup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunther Svensmark helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Gunther Svensmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severin Hjerting stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tonni Glyming's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Torkild Faursby kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Oswald Kansberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uglestrup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skjolde FV the free kick. After a rather tough play, Uglestrup's Oswald Kansberg got a free kick in the 27th minute. Skjolde FV's Keld Buck suffered a concussion in the 30th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Oswald Kansberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Uglestrup getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Oswald Kansberg hit a great ball. Nicki Grundfør didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gunther Svensmark went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hemming Gundry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Severin Hjerting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severin Hjerting made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paw Enghusen in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paw Enghusen to strike the kick off in the second half. If Paw Enghusen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Gynther Vaarskov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Skjolde FV booed when Uglestrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hemming Gundry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skjolde FV's Severin Hjerting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonni Glyming in the 58th minute of play. Paw Enghusen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severin Hjerting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paw Enghusen in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uglestrup's zone, Tavs Ettehauge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicki Grundfør came out of the goal and Tavs Ettehauge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paw Enghusen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severin Hjerting having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Hemming Gundry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Skjolde FV's zone, Paw Enghusen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severin Hjerting came out of the goal and Paw Enghusen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paw Enghusen struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Severin Hjerting didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uglestrup. In the 91st minute Hemming Gundry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severin Hjerting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Skjolde FV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Skjolde FV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
