Luis Ewersen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niki Rentoft, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 19 played minutes Aarhus Flo GF got a freekick which was hit by Aake Pihlager. With a little luck, Aarhus Flo GF's Luis Ewersen got control of the ball when Niki Rentoft tried to sneak it across the goal line. Godtfred Nurby's late challenge caught a Aarhus Flo GF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godtfred Nurby helped the player get up and apologised. Godtfred Nurby hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Aarhus Flo GF's Morthen Tangsted got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Espen Vex sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Ewersen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niki Rentoft went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 39th match minute, Aarhus Flo GF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonni Borrild to maneuver through the defense. If Manfred Plenning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niki Rentoft in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Ewersen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Groszhennig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Luis Ewersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moses Restaino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ditlef Thornit having to make a save. 88 minutes into the match, Brogaard FC's Tomas Groszhennig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Ewersen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ditlef Thornit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Espen Vex in the 89th minute. Gert Eggersfelt charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert Eggersfelt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There was no doubt that Brogaard FC were the better team. Brogaard FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
