The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edward Gjørrild during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to London United getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Edward Gjørrild hit a great ball. Chrestian Nauheimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mikki Levå tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Laust Rubak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the London United and the Sønderlev AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mikki Levå stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Knut Ellitsgaard's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. If Knut Ellitsgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Chrestian Nauheimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikki Levå was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, London United's Nickolas Perplies got a free kick in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Sønderlev AC's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Pringel came free, but Taus Wackers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sønderlev AC booed when London United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nickolas Perplies didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Frantz Jattrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magnus Pringel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sønderlev AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Ellitsgaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Knut Ellitsgaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but London United's Mikki Levå was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Knut Ellitsgaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikki Levå was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Knut Ellitsgaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mikki Levå tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. London United's Mikki Levå proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save London United from getting a goal against them. Mikki Levå showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chrestian Nauheimer in the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Chrestian Nauheimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikki Levå was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Nickolas Perplies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taus Wackers having to interfere. If Chrestian Nauheimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, London United's Mikki Levå got control of the ball when Knut Ellitsgaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Chrestian Nauheimer took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Mikki Levå to make any attempt to save it. Edward Gjørrild kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sønderlev AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
