In the 4thth minute of the game Aleks Engling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ellesø AC's Arvid Darci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arvid Darci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleks Engling, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hagbard Skrydsholt in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arvid Darci saved Ellesø AC from getting behind. A collision led to Ellesø AC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gerhardt Fohrmann hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Ellesø AC's goal looked a bit too open when Aleks Engling came free, but Arvid Darci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Ellesø AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalle Brøndel to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aleks Engling was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Hagbard Skrydsholt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvid Darci was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Aleks Engling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Darci having to interfere. Benjamin Egehus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Kjeldgaard in the 62nd minute of play. Benjamin Egehus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jim Tannenberg's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Ellesø AC got a corner. Balle AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Asgar Skarre ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benjamin Egehus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Tannenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Curt Chrestrup charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Curt Chrestrup the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Balle AC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Curt Chrestrup hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ellesø AC's Asgar Skarre tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Gerhardt Fohrmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ellesø AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Balle AC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
