In the 14th minute Osvald Borschau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolai Corneby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Micael Willeforte charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Micael Willeforte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Micael Willeforte hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Balthazar Knirke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jess Irvold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Aksel Spannov hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Eg Soroush fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jess Irvold having to interfere. Osvald Borschau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolai Corneby having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bovense AC's zone, Osvald Borschau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolai Corneby came out of the goal and Osvald Borschau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bovense AC's Balthazar Knirke in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Struer AC's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvald Borschau made a kick off. Eg Soroush fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jess Irvold having to interfere. Jess Irvold didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. After 74 minutes, Mikki Brenaa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Struer AC and the Bovense AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thue Gramfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Thue Gramfeldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolai Corneby. Bovense AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thue Gramfeldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. During the 82nd minute of the match Micael Willeforte completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Micael Willeforte a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Micael Willeforte kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Bovense AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dirk Baunø in the 86th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Balthazar Knirke advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-3 in the 86th minute. When Mattias Todum came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Bovense AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Todum couldn't finish the play. The Struer AC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bovense AC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bovense AC.
