The referee ignored Hetofte FC's protests and gave Gynther Hammeraa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hetofte FC's Gynther Hammeraa got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Rickard Singers came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Hetofte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rickard Singers couldn't finish the play. Kevin Pilby's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Søren Hanehøj firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Pilby got free with Søren Hanehøj in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hetofte FC's Søren Hanehøj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Schiøttz in the 25th minute of play. Kevin Pilby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Søren Hanehøj made a huge save. In the 30th minute Dick Schiøttz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Hanehøj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rickard Singers during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Hetofte FC got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Singers. Søren Hanehøj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Schiøttz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Dick Schiøttz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molgær AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Schiøttz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Søren Hanehøj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Schiøttz in the 43rd minute of play forced Hetofte FC's goalkeeper Søren Hanehøj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick Schiøttz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Søren Hanehøj read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Dick Schiøttz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hetofte FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Rickard Singers hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rickard Singers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Kevin Pilby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Hanehøj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Molgær AC's Therkil Mjelve got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Therkil Mjelve in the 62nd minute of play forced Hetofte FC's goalkeeper Søren Hanehøj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Dick Schiøttz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dick Schiøttz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Søren Hanehøj having to interfere. Kevin Pilby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Kevin Pilby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hetofte FC's Søren Hanehøj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hetofte FC's zone, Dick Schiøttz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Søren Hanehøj came out of the goal and Dick Schiøttz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Dick Schiøttz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Søren Hanehøj was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Hetofte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chrestian Esten came free, but Søren Hanehøj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Hetofte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gotfred Bornild to maneuver through the defense. Dick Schiøttz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Søren Hanehøj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Dick Schiøttz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gotfred Bornild's late challenge caught a Molgær AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Pilby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Dick Schiøttz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hetofte FC's Søren Hanehøj. Søren Hanehøj was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Molgær AC had played much better football throughout.
