Spectators: 6706 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kris Mensberg kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kris Mensberg during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Hedeboerne got a freekick which was hit by Kris Mensberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Oluf Bjørnager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gærup's supporters rose to their feet, but Oluf Bjørnager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bent Langberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricki Adrup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricki Adrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bent Langberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Laubek kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ricki Adrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bent Langberg made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ricki Adrup sent off a good shot on target. Gynther Nedergaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Spånn having to interfere. The supporters of Hedeboerne booed when Gærup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrad Maglebjerg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gærup getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Conrad Maglebjerg hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gynther Nedergaard in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Spånn saved Gærup from getting behind. Kris Mensberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Karl Spånn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Singh in the 38th minute of play forced Gærup's goalkeeper Karl Spånn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hedeboerne's Bent Langberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oluf Bjørnager in the 39th minute of play. Bent Langberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oluf Bjørnager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oluf Bjørnager stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Gærup's Oluf Bjørnager nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bent Langberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 61st minute, Conrad Maglebjerg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lynge Løvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oluf Bjørnager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hedeboerne's Bent Langberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Gramvad in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gynther Nedergaard got free with Karl Spånn in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricki Adrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bent Langberg having to interfere. Sean Singh's late challenge caught a Gærup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sean Singh helped the player get up and apologised. Sean Singh hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Gærup's Oluf Bjørnager in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hedeboerne's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hedeboerne players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gærup.
