In the 14th minute Viggo Freuler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristofer Nordkap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rupert Dreesen might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Frejlev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rupert Dreesen ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Dupper FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ejvind Scherg hit a great ball. Kristofer Nordkap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebbe Lilledal in the 18th minute of play. Henrik Frejlev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teddi Solsø in the 21st minute. Teddi Solsø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Henrik Frejlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Kjær SIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rupert Dreesen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Dupper FC's Teddi Solsø got a free kick in the 35th minute. Donald Hagelberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Rupert Dreesen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dupper FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rupert Dreesen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrik Frejlev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th match minute, Dupper FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ejvind Scherg to maneuver through the defense. Morten Bjørkmar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, one of Dupper FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dupper FC. Bjarne Falmark shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Kjær SIK's Henrik Frejlev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teddi Solsø in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Ejvind Scherg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Ebbe Lilledal could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Kristofer Nordkap however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Dupper FC's Tage Lacava got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dupper FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bjarne Falmark was slow to take the kick. During this time Kjær SIK's players had a chance to rest. Tage Lacava recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tage Lacava kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Morten Bjørkmar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristofer Nordkap didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ebbe Lilledal went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Ejvind Scherg came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Dupper FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ejvind Scherg couldn't finish the play. If Charley Golbækdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
