Mogens Thure struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Aage Sandergaard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saxild FV. C.A. Husky's Aage Sandergaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Rensgaard in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Egon Rensgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saxild FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Rensgaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aage Sandergaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mogens Thure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Saxild FV's zone, Jonny Hellesøe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Gyldenborg came out of the goal and Jonny Hellesøe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the game, Cornelius Grossmann lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Marius Gyldenborg. Jonny Hellesøe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marius Gyldenborg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Cornelius Grossmann rounded Saxild FV's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. A collision led to C.A. Husky getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Nicklas Banholdt hit a great ball. After 50 minutes C.A. Husky's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jasper Vejers who took care of the corner kick. Saxild FV's Jasper Vejers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aage Sandergaard in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mogens Thure who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Aage Sandergaard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marius Gyldenborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Hellesøe in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Thorlejf Haugelund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saxild FV and the C.A. Husky players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mogens Thure got free with Aage Sandergaard in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes Saxild FV got a freekick which was hit by Thorlejf Haugelund. Mogens Thure's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Aage Sandergaard skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Saxild FV's Egon Rensgaard in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Husky's goalie prevented a goal. When Cornelius Grossmann came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the C.A. Husky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelius Grossmann couldn't finish the play. Cornelius Grossmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aage Sandergaard was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jasper Vejers. After having played for 98 minutes, Mogens Thure managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saxild FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mogens Thure was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C.A. Husky were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saxild FV for a fine match.
