The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 3rd minute, but Tonni Grosen got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Tørring hanging dry this time. The audience was convinced that Stephan Ceno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marko Christby was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After 9 minutes, Dennis Højberg made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tørring's Tonni Grosen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute Arnold Gudemoos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Christby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Højberg kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Stephan Ceno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arnold Gudemoos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stephan Ceno in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marko Christby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Vejrum's zone, Arnold Gudemoos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Christby came out of the goal and Arnold Gudemoos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marko Christby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Gudemoos in the 40th minute of the match. Marko Christby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephan Ceno's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Arnold Gudemoos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Christby having to interfere. Arnold Gudemoos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 48 minutes, Stephan Ceno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tørring's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stephan Ceno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stephan Ceno made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Vejrum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Lunge to maneuver through the defense. Marko Christby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Ceno in the 57th minute of play. Tonni Grosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Kjøbek in the 64th minute of the match. Christoffer Lunge's late challenge caught a Tørring's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christoffer Lunge helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vejrum getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Christoffer Lunge hit a great ball. Marko Christby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Ceno, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Marko Christby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Smidstrup in the 93rd minute of play. Tørring's Tonni Grosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Kjøbek in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micky Gyrithholm in the 96th minute of play forced Tørring's goalkeeper Tonni Grosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tørring's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Vejrum had won, even though Tørring had held more of the ball.
