Højreby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paw Goldbro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 minutes of play, Højreby's Fredrik Streyen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicholas Lonning was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tage Label received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nicholas Lonning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bendt Rothgart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The Vedsted FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicholas Lonning should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the game, Asfred Otkjær recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sigfred Hersbo. Asfred Otkjær showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Asfred Otkjær was the one to do the kick off. Paw Goldbros short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Nicholas Lonning to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th match minute, Vedsted FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunner Strandlund to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vedsted FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Timo Skovbro hit a great ball. Paw Goldbro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Vedsted FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paw Goldbro came free, but Nicholas Lonning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Tage Label got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Vedsted FC's Nicholas Lonning got control of the ball when Paw Goldbro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vedsted FC's zone, Fredrik Streyen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicholas Lonning came out of the goal and Fredrik Streyen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredrik Streyen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Nicholas Lonning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toke Nefnæv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anker Kenzie's late challenge caught a Højreby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anker Kenzie helped the player get up and apologised. Anker Kenzie kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Nicholas Lonning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toke Nefnæv, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Højreby's goal looked a bit too open when Bendt Rothgart came free, but Sigfred Hersbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
