Lasse Presley's late challenge caught a Øbjærg FV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lasse Presley helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Våbensted's Lasse Presley got a free kick in the 8th minute. Niko Hammeris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folmer Moenstrup read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Niko Hammeris struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Folmer Moenstrup didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Våbensted. Janus Kysing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Kain in the 14th minute of play. Janus Kysing came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Øbjærg FV's Marko Fielman. But to his dismay, Marko Fielman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 22nd minute Niko Hammeris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folmer Moenstrup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Øbjærg FV's goalkeeper Folmer Moenstrup had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bent Pay. Janus Kysing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Kain in the 26th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Niko Hammeris took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Folmer Moenstrup to make any attempt to save it. 34 minutes into the match, Våbensted's Niko Hammeris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folmer Moenstrup narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niko Hammeris in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folmer Moenstrup saved Øbjærg FV from getting behind. Bent Pay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Bent Pay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Våbensted's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bent Pay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Øbjærg FV's Folmer Moenstrup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Oppenhagen in the 52nd minute of play. Folmer Moenstrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niko Hammeris, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Øbjærg FV's zone, Niko Hammeris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folmer Moenstrup came out of the goal and Niko Hammeris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Våbensted's Kaare Hovdala suffered a concussion in the 61st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Gerdt Gaasdahl fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Øbjærg FV's protests and gave Gerdt Gaasdahl a yellow card for diving instead. Våbensted's Jacob Kroge was substituted for Kaare Hovdala. The supporters of Våbensted booed when Øbjærg FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerdt Gaasdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Våbensted's Janus Kysing got control of the ball when Manfred Mørkeberth tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Niko Hammeris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Våbensted fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Våbensted players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
