Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ebbe Molteng started the match with the kick off. Alfred Grolf kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Sommerlund FV got a freekick which was hit by Knud Bædkel. Alfred Grolf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Peder Arvid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peder Arvid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Grolf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Sommerlund FV got a freekick which was hit by Uffe Gyrtrup. Teis Halmar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sigvald Aalskov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peder Arvid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ebbe Molteng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peder Arvid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebbe Molteng in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Grolf in the 43rd minute of play forced Sommerlund FV's goalkeeper Peder Arvid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 played minutes Sommerlund FV got a freekick which was hit by Knud Bædkel. After 49 played minutes, Rousthøje FC's Jørgen Jonsborg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peder Arvid came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rousthøje FC reached it.

53 minutes into the match, Sommerlund FV's Teis Halmar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sigvald Aalskov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Sommerlund FV's Mathies Kyrik seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mathies Kyrik the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sommerlund FV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mathies Kyrik had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 58 minutes into the game, one of Sommerlund FV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Sommerlund FV defense, Jørgen Jonsborg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peder Arvid. The Sommerlund FV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peder Arvid should have stopped the shot. Richard Splidsboel kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A hard shot by Nick Gipsy from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Peder Arvid's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Ebbe Molteng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rousthøje FC booed when Sommerlund FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Vesti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nick Gipsy hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Sommerlund FV's Peder Arvid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Sommerlund FV from getting a goal against them. Peder Arvid made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ebbe Molteng in the 83rd minute. Harry Brorholt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvald Aalskov having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Sommerlund FV lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
