The referee ignored Tårup FV's protests and gave Tom Thorhus a yellow card for diving instead. Tom Thorhus hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alan Blovsgaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Günther Stærkind was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Alan Blovsgaards short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Günther Stærkind to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Væggerløse AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tårup FV were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alan Blovsgaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Alan Blovsgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Günther Stærkind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Kjeldsteen in the 65th minute of the match. If Oscar Aastrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
