The referee ignored Bråskov's protests and gave Reinhardt Laungart a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Bråskov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinhardt Laungart to maneuver through the defense. When Gudshånd's Charlie Koler, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gudshånd. The audience held their breath when Mikki Desmark in the 44th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Egil Markvad's left hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Egil Markvad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Skærbæk in the 71st minute of the match. Ernst Daubo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Bråskov fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gudshånd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
