Melchior Skjaldholt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Overup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmer Sjerrild having to interfere. In the last second Helmer Sjerrild throw himself and got hold of the ball when Victor Overup in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amdi Guivernau got free with Helmer Sjerrild in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Overup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmer Sjerrild having to interfere. Victor Overup's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmer Sjerrild read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Helmer Sjerrild took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Overup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Overup in the 18th minute of play forced Bunken's goalkeeper Helmer Sjerrild to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Victor Overup came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Solsten Zevenstone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Overup couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Victor Overup recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helmer Sjerrild. Victor Overup showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Victor Overup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amdi Guivernau struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Helmer Sjerrild didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solsten Zevenstone. 30 minutes into the match, Victor Overup dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Helmer Sjerrild, 2-0. In the 34th minute Victor Overup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmer Sjerrild saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Bunken's goal looked a bit too open when Melchior Skjaldholt came free, but Helmer Sjerrild reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Steff Gulnæs fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunken's protests and gave Steff Gulnæs a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Solsten Zevenstone booed when Bunken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steff Gulnæs didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Solsten Zevenstone's Victor Overup sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Helmer Sjerrild narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Victor Overup managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solsten Zevenstone's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Overup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmer Sjerrild breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steff Gulnæs to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Victor Overup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
