The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match Ruddi Rytoft sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Folmar Hemmingsholt skillfully saved the ball. Visti Agni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Folmar Hemmingsholt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sten Porsholt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassan Mulin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Agerbæk FV's Jørn Seslef got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Porsholt got free with Hassan Mulin in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, FCBillund The Pride of DK's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Boge came free, but Hassan Mulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Visti Agni notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Agerbæk FV's Folmar Hemmingsholt. Folmar Hemmingsholt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half FCBillund The Pride of DK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Borgvad was the one to do the kick off. Igor Bylling kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 56 played minutes FCBillund The Pride of DK got a freekick which was hit by Visti Agni. Agerbæk FV's Folmar Hemmingsholt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Borgvad in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Roland Boge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agerbæk FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Boge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute Roland Boge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hassan Mulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Visti Agni in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Folmar Hemmingsholt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hasan Arsberg walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Jan Borgvad managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCBillund The Pride of DK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Borgvad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folmar Hemmingsholt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
