Halfdan Bobrova's late challenge caught a Tayabas City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halfdan Bobrova helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Halfdan Bobrova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aage Kabbel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helmuth Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Herrestrup's Aage Kabbel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helmuth Petersson in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tayabas City's Justin Molstrøm got a free kick in the 10th minute. Folmer Frisland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terkel Tangsted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 13 minutes on the clock, Moritz Jylov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Herrestrup! Herrestrup:s Aage Kabbel showed great skill when he stopped Torbjørn Rybo:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Tayabas City's Bernhard Ertmann got a free kick in the 21st minute. Herrestrup's Ture Wijngaard got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Torbjørn Rybo made a precise shot to the right of Aage Kabbel. Herrestrup's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Tayabas City's Artur Gyldenvove got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 47 played minutes Tayabas City got a freekick which was hit by Justin Molstrøm. After recieving a nice pass, Herrestrup's Terkel Tangsted tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Helmuth Petersson was the one to do the kick off. Aage Kabbel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjørn Rybo in the 53rd minute of the match. If Helmuth Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Herrestrup's zone, Helmuth Petersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aage Kabbel came out of the goal and Helmuth Petersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute of the match, Helmuth Petersson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aage Kabbel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 63rd match minute, Herrestrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ture Wijngaard to maneuver through the defense. Wolfgang Løvel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Helmuth Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the game, Benny Noring was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tayabas City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herrestrup the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tayabas City's Benny Noring got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute Ture Wijngaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folmer Frisland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thorvald Arnsfelt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Aage Kabbel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 83 minutes, Helmuth Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tayabas City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helmuth Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torbjørn Rybo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Herrestrup booed when Tayabas City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Gyldenvove didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aage Kabbel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helmuth Petersson's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Tayabas City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
