Mickey Krogstad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of FC Amager booed when Biskopstorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Cederholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolph Warkov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tor Glenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. FC Amager's Mickey Krogstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Lykkeø in the 13th minute of play. If Nick Strandtoft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute, Sivart Højegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Uwe Møllerstrøm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Hoppe was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Brian Houring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Biskopstorp's Per Hoppe got control of the ball when Nick Strandtoft tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Stig Cederholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Amager's Rudolph Warkov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Biskopstorp. If Uwe Møllerstrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Biskopstorp's goalkeeper Per Hoppe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nick Strandtoft. Per Hoppe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe Møllerstrøm in the 41st minute of the match. Roland Lykkeø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Biskopstorp's goalkeeper Per Hoppe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nick Strandtoft.

The wind increased when Dick Watson made the kick off in the second half. Uwe Møllerstrøm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Hoppe having to interfere. When FC Amager's Nick Strandtoft in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Biskopstorp's goalie prevented a goal. Per Hoppe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Møllerstrøm, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Nick Strandtoft managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Amager's supporters rose to their feet, but Nick Strandtoft was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Hoppe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nick Strandtoft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Nick Strandtoft managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Amager's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nick Strandtoft was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Biskopstorp's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Møllerstrøm came free, but Per Hoppe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Uwe Møllerstrøm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per Hoppe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Uwe Møllerstrøm came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Amager fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uwe Møllerstrøm couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nick Strandtoft during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nick Strandtoft kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Roland Lykkeø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mickey Krogstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Hoppe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Strandtoft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Uwe Møllerstrøm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Nick Strandtoft ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per Hoppe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Biskopstorp's zone, Nick Strandtoft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Hoppe came out of the goal and Nick Strandtoft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Nick Strandtoft managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Amager's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nick Strandtoft was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gerhard Randborg fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Amager's protests and gave Gerhard Randborg a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee ended the match the FC Amager players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
