After a defensive mix-up in Gellerup FV's zone, Roald Brøndel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miklos Kiellerup came out of the goal and Roald Brøndel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Runo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miklos Kiellerup having to interfere. If Ronald Elsbøg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Fargo Valanciunas's Ronald Elsbøg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miklos Kiellerup narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Caspar Boerskov notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fargo Valanciunas's Tomas Näfver. Tomas Näfver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Kam hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Caspar Boerskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Elsbøg in the 30th minute of play forced Gellerup FV's goalkeeper Miklos Kiellerup to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Roald Brøndel took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Miklos Kiellerup to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Artur Viskum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gellerup FV's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Viskum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Näfver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronald Elsbøg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gellerup FV's Miklos Kiellerup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Elsbøg in the 47th minute of play.

Tomas Näfver made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Artur Viskum sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the match, Ronald Elsbøg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miklos Kiellerup. Gellerup FV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronald Elsbøg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Gellerup FV's Miklos Kiellerup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roald Brøndel in the 59th minute of play. Roald Brøndel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Näfver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caspar Boerskov in the 74th minute of play. Valder Rimsål hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Tomas Näfver came out of the goal and Matthias Væsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Jari Krauthammer in the 78th minute really tested Tomas Näfver's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 80th minute, Caspar Boerskov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomas Näfver. The goal made the score 3-2. Artur Viskum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Näfver having to interfere. If Roald Brøndel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
