Gustav Remsen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Eg Broskov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Gustav Remsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eg Broskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wictor Edelsborg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Wictor Edelsborg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eg Broskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rebild's zone, Wictor Edelsborg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eg Broskov came out of the goal and Wictor Edelsborg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, Milton Valenius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rebild's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rogenstrup SIK the free kick. Milton Valenius kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rebild's zone, Gustav Remsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eg Broskov came out of the goal and Gustav Remsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rogenstrup SIK's goalkeeper Jimi Brøgger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Rogenstrup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Gerhard Wind. The supporters of Rebild booed when Rogenstrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Edelsborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Klemens Gregaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Rebild got a freekick which was hit by Milton Valenius. The supporters of Rebild booed when Rogenstrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Remsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wictor Edelsborg to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rogenstrup SIK's goalkeeper Jimi Brøgger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustav Brusvang. Gustav Remsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eg Broskov having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gustav Brusvang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebild's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustav Brusvang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimi Brøgger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rogenstrup SIK's goalkeeper Jimi Brøgger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gustav Brusvang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimi Brøgger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klemens Gregaard in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Rogenstrup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Fuchs to maneuver through the defense. Jimi Brøgger made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Gustav Brusvang sent off a good shot on target. After 76 minutes, Muhammad Hoyer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rogenstrup SIK and the Rebild players grew even worse after the yellow card. 76 minutes into the game, one of Rogenstrup SIK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 94th minute, Milton Valenius fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jimi Brøgger, passed just outside the right post. The Rogenstrup SIK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rebild's performance. The match ended with a win for Rebild.
