Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claes Rosschou got the match started through his kick off. Lundby's Sten Friisvang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Reynhamar in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Bankager Eagles's Walentin Snerup sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Friisvang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sten Friisvang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Reynhamar in the 14th minute of the match. Stuart Puckow was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wladimir Rebenstorf. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Vincent Reynhamar sped through Lundby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sten Friisvang. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bankager Eagles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, Lundby's Thorkild Refbo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stuart Puckow. If Berthel Axelstrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walentin Snerup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sten Friisvang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Berthel Axelstrøm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lundby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berthel Axelstrøm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walentin Snerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Gerhard Brynsø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Bankager Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gynter Sprøgel to maneuver through the defense. Berthel Axelstrøm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
51 minutes into the game, Gynter Sprøgel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bankager Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lundby the free kick. After 52 played minutes Bankager Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Gynter Sprøgel. Berthel Axelstrøm hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Walentin Snerup's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Friisvang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Conrad Ansvang hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bankager Eagles's Walentin Snerup slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sten Friisvang. That made the score 1-2 after 60 minutes of play. Walentin Snerup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Friisvang having to interfere. Lundby's Sten Friisvang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walentin Snerup in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Lundby's goal looked a bit too open when Walentin Snerup came free, but Sten Friisvang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berthel Axelstrøm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Gynter Sprøgel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sten Friisvang made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gerhard Brynsø sent off a good shot on target. Frantz Wischmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sten Friisvang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Gynter Sprøgel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sten Friisvang, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Lundby getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Conrad Ansvang hit a great ball. Berthel Axelstrøm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Stuart Puckow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bankager Eagles's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
