Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ømkuler's Abhidyu Phom started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute David Ballesgaard suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 8 minutes, Ulrick Fogelstrøm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxy United FC and the Ømkuler players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ømkuler made a substitution. Ulf Fensvang replaced David Ballesgaard. Edvardt Wissum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigurd Almblad in the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Galaxy United FC's Egil Genild made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvardt Wissum was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Galaxy United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Jonsson came free, but Kenneth Grøftebjerg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ømkuler defense, Egil Genild kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvardt Wissum. The Ømkuler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvardt Wissum should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Fensvang in the 29th minute of play forced Galaxy United FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Grøftebjerg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Egil Genild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvardt Wissum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galaxy United FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Grøftebjerg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ømkuler booed when Galaxy United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amdi Rylinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Galaxy United FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egil Genild stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulrick Fogelstrøm kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Attila Henter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Grøftebjerg having to interfere. Cesar Reyniers charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Reyniers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Ømkuler got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Reyniers. 59 minutes into the game, Ulf Fensvang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kenneth Grøftebjerg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxy United FC's zone, Attila Henter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Grøftebjerg came out of the goal and Attila Henter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Ømkuler's goalkeeper Edvardt Wissum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigurd Almblad. Edvardt Wissum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Genild in the 66th minute of the match. Kenneth Grøftebjerg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attila Henter in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Albinus Revens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galaxy United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ømkuler the free kick. Ømkuler's Attila Henter got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amdi Rylinger hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Galaxy United FC's Kenneth Grøftebjerg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Jonsson in the 83rd minute of play. When Ulf Fensvang came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ømkuler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Fensvang couldn't finish the play. Hannes Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Grøftebjerg having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Galaxy United FC got a freekick which was hit by Amdi Rylinger. In the 97th match minute, Galaxy United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrick Fogelstrøm to maneuver through the defense.
