Eigil Wichmand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Embort in the 17th minute of the match. Sonny Ringmann's late challenge caught a Muldbjerg AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sonny Ringmann helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes LUNDEBORG FC got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Ringmann. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind LUNDEBORG FC's goalkeeper Eigil Wichmand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, LUNDEBORG FC's goal looked a bit too open when George Jelstrøm came free, but Eigil Wichmand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Eli Hesager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Jelstrøm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eigil Wichmand having to interfere. Eigil Wichmand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Jelstrøm's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Eigil Wichmand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Jelstrøm in the 38th minute of the match. If George Jelstrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Embort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eigil Wichmand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when George Jelstrøm made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Joachim Embort got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Jelstrøm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joachim Embort struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eigil Wichmand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muldbjerg AC. The attack was good, but when George Jelstrøm in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 68 minutes into the match, LUNDEBORG FC's goalkeeper Eigil Wichmand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joachim Embort. The audience was convinced that George Jelstrøm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eigil Wichmand was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Eigil Wichmand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Jelstrøm in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, LUNDEBORG FC's Rainer Birkesgaard got a free kick in the 81st minute. Hugo Ørnskjold, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eigil Wichmand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Jelstrøm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, LUNDEBORG FC's Ib Steenshof got a free kick in the 86th minute. George Jelstrøm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eigil Wichmand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute George Jelstrøm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eigil Wichmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LUNDEBORG FC's Eigil Wichmand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save LUNDEBORG FC from getting a goal against them. George Jelstrøm might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eigil Wichmand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Jelstrøm ran back to his position shaking his head. Eli Hesager didn't quite understand what happened when in the 97 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the match was over Muldbjerg AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LUNDEBORG FC throughout the match.
