In the 9th minute, Marcus Plessum reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eigil Wichmand. The goal made the score 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lauritz Boland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oddesund's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauritz Boland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eigil Wichmand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LUNDEBORG FC's Eigil Wichmand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save LUNDEBORG FC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Lauritz Boland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eigil Wichmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rainer Birkesgaard hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Eigil Wichmand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauritz Boland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LUNDEBORG FC's Eigil Wichmand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kornelius Brøndegaard in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute Lauritz Boland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eigil Wichmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Igor Dyhrsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauritz Boland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eigil Wichmand having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Eigil Wichmand successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louie Sanderlund to strike the kick off in the second half. Abraham Jespensgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louie Sanderlund in the 52nd minute of the match. Eigil Wichmand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kornelius Brøndegaard went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the game, Oddesund's Kornelius Brøndegaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eigil Wichmand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 64 minutes into the match, LUNDEBORG FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Dyhrsing came free, but Eigil Wichmand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Dyhrsing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Marcus Plessum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eigil Wichmand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amdi Kettel in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eigil Wichmand saved LUNDEBORG FC from getting behind. Lauritz Boland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kornelius Brøndegaard in the 74th minute of play forced LUNDEBORG FC's goalkeeper Eigil Wichmand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rainer Birkesgaard's late challenge caught a Oddesund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rainer Birkesgaard helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes LUNDEBORG FC got a freekick which was hit by Rainer Birkesgaard. 80 minutes into the match, Oddesund's goal looked a bit too open when Louie Sanderlund came free, but Abraham Jespensgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oddesund's goalkeeper Abraham Jespensgaard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Oddesund's Marcus Plessum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eigil Wichmand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Igor Dyhrsing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eigil Wichmand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Oddesund fully deserved thier win.
