Igor Dyhrsing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lauritz Boland came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Oddesund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauritz Boland couldn't finish the play. Abraham Jespensgaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Jelstrøm in the 12th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Kenneth Tevik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muldbjerg AC and the Oddesund players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Muldbjerg AC got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Tevik. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Dyhrsing couldn't finish the play. Gregor Alenkær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Jespensgaard having to interfere. Abraham Jespensgaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Jelstrøm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muldbjerg AC's goalkeeper Thorfinn Kieffer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lauritz Boland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Micael Hurwitz's late challenge caught a Muldbjerg AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oddesund's Amdi Kettel got a free kick in the 44th minute. Joachim Embort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lauritz Boland to make the kick off. Lauritz Boland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thorfinn Kieffer having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Muldbjerg AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Tevik to maneuver through the defense. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 90th minute George Jelstrøm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Jespensgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Embort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Abraham Jespensgaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, George Jelstrøm made a precise shot to the right of Abraham Jespensgaard. Oddesund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Oddesund were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Muldbjerg AC to leave the ground with a draw.
