Spectators: 8035 (Terracing: 6027, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thue Varmdorf got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Rainer Birkesgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in LUNDEBORG FC's zone, Thue Varmdorf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eigil Wichmand came out of the goal and Thue Varmdorf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thue Varmdorf took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eigil Wichmand. Eigil Wichmand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 16 played minutes LUNDEBORG FC got a freekick which was hit by Rainer Birkesgaard. 20 minutes into the match, Splash AC's Ernst Kjærvang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eigil Wichmand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Thue Varmdorf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Splash AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thue Varmdorf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eigil Wichmand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ernst Kjærvang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Vesturklett kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Thue Varmdorfs short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Eigil Wichmand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thue Varmdorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eigil Wichmand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LUNDEBORG FC's Eigil Wichmand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save LUNDEBORG FC from getting a goal against them. If Ernst Kjærvang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thue Varmdorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Eigil Wichmand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernst Kjærvang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thue Varmdorf struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Eigil Wichmand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Splash AC. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Louie Sanderlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Sonny Ringmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ernst Kjærvang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Splash AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernst Kjærvang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eigil Wichmand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thue Varmdorf scored 4-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eigil Wichmand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LUNDEBORG FC's Eigil Wichmand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thue Varmdorf in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute, Thue Varmdorf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Splash AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 80th match minute, LUNDEBORG FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rainer Birkesgaard to maneuver through the defense. Eigil Wichmand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tage Pern's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Splash AC's Ernst Kjærvang got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eigil Wichmand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thue Varmdorf in the 90th minute of play. Severin Denson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Christoffer Ganwills made a huge save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Splash AC fully deserved thier win.
