Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kevin Kjølstad started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Rye BK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Svend Alsbro hit a great ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rye BK's goalkeeper Johan Thyren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Eyvind Damsbæk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Johan Thyren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svend Alsbro got free with Flemming Nauge in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rye BK's Johan Thyren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eyvind Damsbæk in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Ali Vinsteen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rye BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Debel FV the free kick. Ali Vinsteen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Johan Thyren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marko Prestov's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Kevin Kjølstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flemming Nauge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Eyvind Damsbæk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Debel FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eyvind Damsbæk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Svend Alsbro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rye BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Svend Alsbro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flemming Nauge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Kjølstad in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flemming Nauge saved Debel FV from getting behind. Kevin Kjølstad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flemming Nauge having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eyvind Damsbæk in the 45th minute of play forced Rye BK's goalkeeper Johan Thyren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eyvind Damsbæk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eyvind Damsbæk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Svend Alsbro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flemming Nauge having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Debel FV's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Kjølstad came free, but Flemming Nauge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Kevin Kjølstad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Debel FV's Flemming Nauge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Debel FV getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Balder Bergendorf hit a great ball. Flemming Nauge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svend Alsbro went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Eyvind Damsbæk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Thyren having to interfere. When Marko Prestov came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Debel FV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Prestov couldn't finish the play. Rye BK's Johan Thyren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eyvind Damsbæk in the 69th minute of play. Johan Thyren made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Marko Prestov sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute Kevin Kjølstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flemming Nauge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Svend Alsbro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Debel FV's Flemming Nauge. Flemming Nauge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flemming Nauge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svend Alsbro's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Kevin Kjølstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Flemming Nauge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kevin Kjølstad came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Rye BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Kjølstad couldn't finish the play.
