Franz Ellemand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Stuckmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franz Ellemand made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Claes Genved sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the game, Nickolas Nipperling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Franz Ellemand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asmus Weidel during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Mariager IF got a freekick which was hit by Asmus Weidel. The long shot by Ian Karklinat in the 12th minute really tested Franz Ellemand's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mariager IF's Asker Parming got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franz Ellemand was a little too slow when Artur Albrechtslund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, Mariager IF's Andre Sauvr got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Mariager IF's Franz Ellemand got control of the ball when Nickolas Nipperling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esben Nilander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Hougs having to make a save. 25 minutes into the game, Esben Nilander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonas Hougs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Esben Nilander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Snesere SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Eskil Bastheim came free, but Jonas Hougs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Bastheim in the 37th minute of play forced Snesere SIK's goalkeeper Jonas Hougs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Mariager IF's Eskil Bastheim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Hougs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Snesere SIK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Knut Stuckmann hit a great ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Esben Nilander made the kick off in the second half. Esben Nilander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Jonas Hougs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eskil Bastheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jonas Hougs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Eskil Bastheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franz Ellemand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Stuckmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nickolas Nipperling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ibrahim Bergild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz Ellemand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Genved, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Andre Sauvr came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mariager IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Sauvr couldn't finish the play. Thorleif Bøgegren hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Eskil Bastheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jonas Hougs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Snesere SIK got a freekick which was hit by Claes Genved. In the 94th minute, Nickolas Nipperling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Snesere SIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Despite being the better team, Mariager IF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
