Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rye BK's Kevin Kjølstad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Andy Skurup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rye BK's Johan Thyren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorsten Haukohl in the 9th minute of play. Rye BK's Svend Alsbro got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andy Skurup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Thyren having to interfere. Mikael Stenhejn made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Svend Alsbro sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Bøstrup's Mikael Stenhejn got control of the ball when Svend Alsbro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johan Thyren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Skurup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svend Alsbro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Mikael Stenhejn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thorsten Haukohl made a kick off. Kevin Kjølstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Stenhejn having to interfere. Mikael Stenhejn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Kjølstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Kjølstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mikael Stenhejn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Bøstrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kield Ebbeness to maneuver through the defense. If Svend Alsbro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svend Alsbro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikael Stenhejn having to make a save. Mikael Stenhejn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Kjølstad in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Kevin Kjølstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Stenhejn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Bøstrup's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Kjølstad came free, but Mikael Stenhejn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Svend Alsbro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mikael Stenhejn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rye BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
