The crowd rose to their feet as Raabymagle AC's Dennis Folevang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven Randborg. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. With a little luck, Odense Boldklub's Sven Randborg got control of the ball when Dennis Folevang tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Folevang in the 14th minute of play forced Odense Boldklub's goalkeeper Sven Randborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svenn Laumann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Acosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Joachim Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svenn Laumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Folevang in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Randborg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dennis Folevang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Sven Randborg made a huge save. Sven Randborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Folevang in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Odense Boldklub's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fritz Mühlenstedt was slow to take the kick. During this time Raabymagle AC's players had a chance to rest. Laureano Paez made a great header on Raabymagle AC's corner, it was just that Odense Boldklub's Sven Randborg managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Raabymagle AC's Dennis Folevang in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Raabymagle AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Paez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frands Djurø might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Svenn Laumann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frands Djurø ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven Randborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Folevang in the 72nd minute of play. After 75th play minutes Dennis Folevang shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Sven Randborg and just under the crossbar into goal. John Starøe hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes, Dennis Folevang made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Odense Boldklub's Sven Randborg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute Terkild Mosbech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svenn Laumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joachim Acosta got free with Svenn Laumann in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven Randborg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Folevang's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The corner ended in Fritz Mühlenstedt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Odense Boldklub's Sven Randborg did a great save. Dennis Folevang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Randborg having to interfere.
