Stephan Stiegler scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunter Hertäg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tranekilde's Ralf Malund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Fardan in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Masannek in the 13th minute of play forced Tranekilde's goalkeeper Ralf Malund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Malund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilfred Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Gunter Hertäg made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Bastian Delkov sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute of the match Christian Renmark shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gunter Hertäg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tranekilde's Bastian Delkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gunter Hertäg. That made the score 2-1 after 21 minutes of play. Ralf Malund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Masannek in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Tranekilde's goal looked a bit too open when Vilfred Martinsson came free, but Ralf Malund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Fardan charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Fardan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucas Fardan hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gunter Hertäg made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Stephan Stiegler sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the game, Samuel Merland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsted's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tranekilde the free kick. Nicolaus Boxenbaum, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gunter Hertäg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eyvin Prosch in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Fardan to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Åsted got a freekick which was hit by Kresten Følbæk. A collision led to Åsted getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Kresten Følbæk hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Åsted:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tranekilde:s goal. The referee gave Tranekilde a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paw Fylling, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Åsted's Gunter Hertäg. 3-2. If Stephan Stiegler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Malund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kresten Følbæk in the 70th minute of the match. Vilfred Martinsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ralf Malund made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Gerhardt Hern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf Malund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kresten Følbæk in the 80th minute of play. Ralf Malund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vilfred Martinsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 81 minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Lucas Fardan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ralf Malund. The goal made the score 3-4. In the 97th minute Eyvin Prosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunter Hertäg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Åsted eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
