Lucas Fardan started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Werner Gerdan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gunter Hertäg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Verner Masannek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Gyldberg having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Åsted's Jack Gyldberg threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohamed Hedengran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Lucas Fardan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jack Gyldberg was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Åsted's Vilfred Martinsson got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunter Hertäg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Garmand in the 19th minute of play. Jack Gyldberg stood somewhat misplaced when Lucas Fardan came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 23 minute. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Jack Gyldberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Niels Brassel struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Gunter Hertäg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legoland United. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Merland during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Åsted getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Samuel Merland hit a great ball. Gunter Hertäg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Garmand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torleif Haugbølle's late challenge caught a Åsted's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torleif Haugbølle helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Legoland United got a freekick which was hit by Torleif Haugbølle. Samuel Merland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Gyldberg having to interfere. Jack Gyldberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Fardan in the 41st minute of the match. After 45 minutes, Niels Brassel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legoland United and the Åsted players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jack Garmand made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Fardan in the 52nd minute of play forced Legoland United's goalkeeper Jack Gyldberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Vilfred Martinsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Legoland United's Jack Gyldberg. Jack Gyldberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Vilfred Martinsson put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jack Gyldberg. Lucas Fardan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Kresten Følbæk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsted's supporters rose to their feet, but Kresten Følbæk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Gyldberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kresten Følbæk scored 4-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jack Gyldberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Verner Masannek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Gyldberg having to make a save. Åsted's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
