The goal made the score 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Warriors of Skandia's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Andreil came free, but Bernhardt Gundgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Curling defense, Sándor Toldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eyvind Rohr. The FC Curling fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eyvind Rohr should have stopped the shot. Eyvind Rohr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerhard Riffensdal in the 90th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Curling players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Warriors of Skandia.
