Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herauso Lopidana to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Frankerup's zone, Herauso Lopidana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicki Blaksmark came out of the goal and Herauso Lopidana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Herauso Lopidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicki Blaksmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frankerup's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 92 minutes into the game, Herauso Lopidana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Nicki Blaksmark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chants of Frankerup echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Søtofte had held the ball for most of the match.
