Seating: 1959, VIP seats: 170) 3 minutes into the match, Søtofte's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Ted came free, but Constantin Rhod reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erhardt Frys hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes Søtofte's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hans Smitt who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Søtofte's goalie and right to Finn Bjerringgaard. Søtofte's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Finn Bjerringgaard fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC GILSAA's protests and gave Finn Bjerringgaard a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Søtofte booed when FC GILSAA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finn Bjerringgaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Claris in the 16th minute of play forced Søtofte's goalkeeper Constantin Rhod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigurt Ryddeskov hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes, FC GILSAA's Hans Smitt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Constantin Rhod came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC GILSAA reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valder Coby in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cenk Senih saved FC GILSAA from getting behind. In the 25th minute of the match Søtofte got a corner. FC GILSAA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rambo Muhametzakirov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rambo Muhametzakirov made a great header on Søtofte's corner, it was just that FC GILSAA's Cenk Senih managed to reach the ball for a save. Søtofte's Constantin Rhod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ted in the 29th minute of play. If Jimi Guntofte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Søtofte's William Courtemanche got a free kick in the 47th minute. Constantin Rhod showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Claris, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valder Coby to make the kick off. Constantin Rhod took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Cristian Ted had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantin Rhod. Søtofte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Ted was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Hans Smitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantin Rhod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Lindekilde in the 69th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes FC GILSAA got a freekick which was hit by Ali Lindekilde. Ali Lindekilde kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valder Coby in the 78th minute of play forced FC GILSAA's goalkeeper Cenk Senih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, FC GILSAA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Haaby to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Ted got free with Constantin Rhod in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC GILSAA played a much better game than Søtofte and deserved their victory. The Søtofte players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
