The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, RoBen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tue Parslet came free, but Jerom Smoors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, James Littlechild left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RoBen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kerteminde Boldklub's Kenneth Kizlich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf Jamieson in the 8th minute of play. Jerom Smoors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tue Parslet in the 11th minute of the match. Kerteminde Boldklub's Kenneth Kizlich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Kerteminde Boldklub from getting a goal against them. Viktor Brorsbøl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Adolf Jamieson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RoBen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Kenneth Kizlich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolf Jamieson in the 19th minute of play. Tøger Bredo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tøger Bredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kerteminde Boldklub! In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for RoBen FC. Adolf Jamieson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kenneth Kizlich. 3-0. Kenneth Kizlich didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. 30 minutes into the game, RoBen FC's Palle Ovengaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth Kizlich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Palle Ovengaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Kizlich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolf Jamieson in the 35th minute of play. RoBen FC's Palle Ovengaard got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of RoBen FC booed when Kerteminde Boldklub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Namansa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Kizlich made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Palle Ovengaard sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the game, Patrick Granning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kerteminde Boldklub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RoBen FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kerteminde Boldklub's Patrick Granning got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes RoBen FC got a freekick which was hit by Moritz Wihrs. Kerteminde Boldklub's Tue Parslet got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolf Jamieson made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Namansa during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leo Namansa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Palle Ovengaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kerteminde Boldklub's Tue Parslet in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RoBen FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, James Littlechild managed to get in a good position for a shot. RoBen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but James Littlechild was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth Kizlich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolf Jamieson in the 71st minute of play forced Kerteminde Boldklub's goalkeeper Kenneth Kizlich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palle Ovengaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kenneth Kizlich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Corneliu Antohi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6-0 became the score in the 78th minute when Adolf Jamieson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kenneth Kizlich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palle Ovengaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kerteminde Boldklub's zone, Corneliu Antohi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Kizlich came out of the goal and Corneliu Antohi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Palle Ovengaard made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth Kizlich. Kerteminde Boldklub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 89thth minute of the game Adolf Jamieson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kerteminde Boldklub's Kenneth Kizlich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kenneth Kizlich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolf Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RoBen FC fully deserved thier win.
