The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Bochynski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christopher Korting. Mågerne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslaw Bochynski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Christopher Korting was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kai Hillebo. Owe Bernig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nicki Blaksmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Gruescu in the 16th minute of play forced Mågerne's goalkeeper Christopher Korting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, George Gruescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christopher Korting saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jonas Kuczyncska received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nicki Blaksmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mågerne's Christopher Korting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Mågerne from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Frankerup's zone, Erik Horsum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicki Blaksmark came out of the goal and Erik Horsum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christopher Korting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sepp Igens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40thth minute of the game Erik Horsum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frankerup's Nicki Blaksmark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Leo Glent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th match minute, Frankerup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Gruescu to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaroslaw Bochynski to strike the kick off in the second half. Mågerne's Christopher Korting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Bochynski in the 69th minute of play. In the 75th minute Jaroslaw Bochynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Korting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Frankerup's Nicki Blaksmark got control of the ball when Erik Horsum tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Owe Bernig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nicki Blaksmark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. George Gruescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Christopher Korting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If George Gruescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Mågerne got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Kuczyncska. If Jaroslaw Bochynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sepp Igens scored 3-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christopher Korting, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mågerne players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Frankerup.
