Herauso Lopidana might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klaus Dykjær. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herauso Lopidana ran back to his position shaking his head. Jack Bindesbæk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Klaus Dykjær tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walder Hasholt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herauso Lopidana in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klaus Dykjær saved Galtebjerg AC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herauso Lopidana got free with Klaus Dykjær in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Walder Hasholt notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Søtofte's Constantin Rhod. Constantin Rhod was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sigurt Ryddeskov hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Constantin Rhod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timm Toksværd in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th play minute Herauso Lopidana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Klaus Dykjær. 2-2. Søtofte's Constantin Rhod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Gårdrup in the 35th minute of play. Constantin Rhod showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timm Toksværd, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Herauso Lopidana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Dykjær having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Herauso Lopidana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Søtofte's supporters rose to their feet, but Herauso Lopidana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaus Dykjær breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Søtofte's Herauso Lopidana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herauso Lopidana made a kick off. After some careless play in the Galtebjerg AC defense, Herauso Lopidana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klaus Dykjær. The Galtebjerg AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klaus Dykjær should have stopped the shot. In the 66th match minute, Søtofte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorsten Bronnes to maneuver through the defense. Galtebjerg AC's Klaus Dykjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herauso Lopidana in the 68th minute of play. Klaus Dykjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Rudy, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Galtebjerg AC's Timm Toksværd ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Constantin Rhod. Constantin Rhod yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. If Herauso Lopidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herauso Lopidana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 played minutes, Søtofte's Thorsten Bronnes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Klaus Dykjær came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Søtofte reached it. Galtebjerg AC's Klaus Dykjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herauso Lopidana in the 91st minute of play. There was no doubt that Søtofte were the better team. Søtofte's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
